I am now working in the renewable energies sector

biotec logo - squareDear all, it is with a distinct pleasure and pride that I am announcing you that after ten years of hard work, my efforts finally paid off and that I have realised one of my dreams : I am now working in the renewable energy industries.

I am indeed currently employed by Biotec, a bioenergy company whose main offices are near Cali, Colombia… Yes , you read that right : I am currently in the Colombian countryside to promote the company and increase its communications efforts.

This three-month consultancy mission – ending in mid-August – will be the occasion for me to redesign their website, improve their newsletter among other things.

Sustainability at work : repair, reduce and reuse

Make do and mendMaking it do, making it last, mending it : this is something that our parents or grandparents were doing but that we don’t do it nowadays anymore. This is bad for our environment and our societies. Here is a reflection.

What do my wallet, my suitcase and my swimming goggles have in common ? They are all repaired items. Both suitcase and wallet were showing signs of age because of extensive use over the years.

Despite frantic protest from my parents stating quite rightly that I could afford new ones, I had them sewn by one of my dear aunts : Pascale is a real genius with either a needle or a sewing machine.

After a year of working as Quality and Communications Manager I am again out seeking new challenges as I was made redundant for economic reasons. (This company is depending from the European auto industry)

This one-year experience was for me the opportunity to work in both communications and quality certification ( ISO 9001:2008 ), two domains where I already had some strong experience.

So I am now seeking any mission in Marketing, Quality and Communications no only in France but also in Europe or all around the world.
