Unprecedented ice melt in Greenland

This is bad news.  As NASA states : ” For several days this month, Greenland’s surface ice cover melted over a larger area than at any time in more than 30 years of satellite observations.

Nearly the entire ice cover of Greenland, from its coastal edges to its two-mile-thick center, experienced some melting at its surface, according to measurements from three independent satellites analyzed by NASA. “

Meanwhile, an iceberg twice as big as Manhattan formed and detached in Greenland. This is a bit more less ice in our poles… This shows we can’t just keep on delaying drastic action : the time to act is NOW.
