Last week the World Community Grid announced it was launching a new project that directly caught my attention, called Computing for Sustainable Water. As the article I received in my mail stated :
” Researchers at the University of Virginia are running the Computing for Sustainable Water project to study the effects of human activity on a large watershed. “
” The results will provide insights on how to restore and sustain this particular watershed as a healthy long term resource and also apply this research approach to other important watersheds around the globe.”
